Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Tourism 2025–2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm with the intense participation of students, their families, and academic and administrative staff.
During the ceremony hosted by the Faculty of Tourism, students from the Department of Tourism Management and the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts experienced the excitement of graduation together with their families and loved ones. Graduates, reaching an important milestone in their educational lives, experienced the joy of receiving the rewards of their years of effort.
Speaking at the program, Dean Prof. Dr. Murat Yeşiltaş congratulated the graduating students, stating that the knowledge, skills, and experiences gained during their university years would be an important guide in their professional lives. Yeşiltaş noted that the students graduated not only as academically equipped individuals but also as socially and culturally competent individuals, wishing all graduates success in their career journeys.
During the ceremony, certificates of achievement and plaques were presented to the students who ranked, while graduation certificates were given to the graduating students. Students shared their graduation joy by stepping onto the stage amidst the applause of academics and the proud gazes of their families.
Especially during the ceremony, which was a scene of emotional moments for the families of the students, parents experienced the joy of witnessing their children's significant achievement. At the end of the ceremony, students celebrated their graduation with a traditional cap-throwing ceremony. The cap-throwing ceremony, held with great enthusiasm, was a colorful spectacle.
After the program, students, their families, and academics took commemorative photos together to immortalize this meaningful day.
